HMS has been doing business in the region through distributors and sales support from Sweden and Spain for several years and there are already many Anybus, IXXAT, eWON and Intesis-products used today by customers in the area.

To expand market presence and improve local sales, HMS now opens an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“The Middle East region is a rapidly expanding market where construction and recurring global initiatives such as Expo 2020 and the World cup of Soccer drives the positive market growth. Several countries are still practically green field for HMS and the growth potential is big” says Martin Hoffert, General Manager for HMS´ Market Unit Northern Europe and rest of the World.

“Local presence will help us get close to the end users of many of our products, enabling us to ensure that the latest technologies from HMS are used when new construction and infrastructure projects are being rolled out. Our new office will be responsible for an enlarged GCC region making sure our go-to-market approach is the correct one to drive further business for us in the area.”

The new office is located in Business Sweden´s facilities and will primarily deal with local sales of Anybus, IXXAT, eWON and Intesis products.
