HMS is one of Sweden’s "Career Companies of the Year 2025"

For the third year in a row, HMS Networks in Halmstad is named career company of the year. This is an award for employers who offer unique career and development opportunities both for newly graduated students and for young employees who have already worked for a few years. The purpose of the Career Companies is to make it easier for Sweden's students and young professionals to find their next employer and to reward successful employer branding work.

"Being named a Career Company for the third year in a row is a great honor and a confirmation of our long-term efforts to put employees at the center," says Linda Oscarson, HR Manager at HMS.

Motivation of the jury

HMS is named Career Company 2025 thanks to its dedication to technological innovation and a stimulating work environment. The company encourages its employees to explore new concepts, creating a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. With its clear focus on technology and innovation, HMS offers a range of exciting career paths for those who want to be part of a forward-thinking and expansive organization. Here, employees have the opportunity to grow and flourish in an atmosphere where their efforts really make a difference.

 

The basic criteria to be included in the selection process to become a Career Company are:

  • At least 250 employees and/or a turnover above 250 MSEK
  • HR manager in the organization
  • Ongoing recruitment efforts
  • “Up & coming”, employers who do not meet all the basic criteria, but who have distinguished themselves with their Employer branding work over the past year “


The expert panel reviews:

In the next phase, employers are reviewed by the expert panel of HR, communications and marketing specialists. The expert panel rates the employer's position and work in the following areas:

  • Career pages on the web
  • Social media presence and quality
  • Activities towards students and young professionals
  • Attractiveness as an employer in external surveys

The 400 employers with the highest scores move on to the next stage.


The jury decides:

In the final stage, the jury meets and together they select the top employers who will be next year's Career Companies. The number of Career Companies may, of course, vary from year to year depending on the quality and the jury's assessment.
