QUESTION
Is it possible to sample meter values from the charge point through the Intesis OCPP to Modbus gateway?
ANSWER
Yes, this functionality is available in Intesis MAPS. It is disabled by default, leaving the related management to the charge points, but it can be enabled to manage the metering values directly via Intesis MAPS instead.
To enable this option, follow these steps: In the OCPP Configuration tab, select Enabled on the Meter Value Sample configuration dropdown (1). Once this option is enabled, you can specify the desired interval for the sampling (2) within a range of zero (no transmission) to 3600 seconds. The default value is 60 seconds. Finally, click the three-dotted button (3) and the list of measurands will appear:
You can enable the measurands to be sampled here. Intesis MAPS supports all the measurands defined by the OCPP 1.6 standard, but before enabling a measurand, you should make sure that the charge point also supports it.
