How to Update Atlas2+ License with device Offline

How to update the Atlas2+ licenses offline, when the Atlas is not connected to the internet.

Access to the internet to upload and download license files to license server

Download WIBU request file from Atlas2+

 To update the license on the Atlas2+, you must first download the license request file. This file is essential for generating a new license with the updated features. 

  1. Open your browser and log in to the Atlas2+ as an administrator. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > General > About Atlas Licenses. This action will open a License Manager pop-up window. 
  3. Click on File Transfer
    *You will return to this window later to update the license.
  4. Click on Download Request File and save the .WibuCmRac file to your computer for uploading to the license server. 

 

 

Upload Request File & Download WIBU Update File

  1. Access the Codemeter License Central
    1. Visit the Codemeter site using the following link:
      1. http://lc.codemeter.com/86969/depot/index.php
  2. Enter the new license "Ticket Number"
  3. Click Next
  4. The subsequent window will display any new licenses available. Click Activate License to activate the new license.
  5. Click Choose file and upload the previously downloaded .WibuCmRac file from Atlas.
  6. Click Download License Update File Now to save the new .WibuCmRaU license to your PC, retaining the original file name. *Remain on this page as you will need to return here to upload the License Receipt

 

Update Atlas license

  1. Return to the Atlas Transfer license file window
    1. This is the same window from which the request was downloaded.
  2. Click on the Update license tab to navigate to it.
  3. Click the folder icon and upload the .WibuCmRaU file downloaded from the WIBU site.
    • It is important that the file still matches the 130-XXXXXXXXX format downloaded from the site.
  4. Click Upload license update. This will trigger a .WibuCmCon receipt file to be downloaded. 
  5. Once uploaded, you will see a popup window confirming the license has been updated correctly. Clicking OK will update the Atlas2+.

 

 

Upload License Receipt

 
  1. Navigate back to the WIBU webpage previously accessed and select Next.
  2. Click Choose File and select the .WibuCmCon file downloaded from Atlas.
  3. Click Upload Receipt Now.
  4. Confirm the successful transfer of the license.
