How to troubleshoot Wifi connection issues on Ewon Flexy or Cosy+ ?

This article explains what parameter could be set in case of unexpected disconnections and how to enable debug logs at the Ewon Wifi driver level.

If you experience Wi-Fi connectivity issues, such as frequent disconnections, consider disabling the "WIFIAutoscan" parameter in the COM settings (set it to 0, save the changes, and reboot). Disabling this feature prevents the Ewon device from switching between Wi-Fi access points with the same SSID when they are at similar distances, which can cause instability.

 

Another option would be to check with your smartphone configured as a Wifi Hotspot.  This way you validate if the Ewon device hardware is still working properly.

If you still face issues, you should then enable the Wifi debug logs on the device. For this, set the SYS parameter "WIFI_DEBUG" to 1.

The debug logs will then be displayed in the real time logs of the device :

If you cannot interpret them, generate a backup files using eBuddy (Select "include support files)

or from the web interface (From the File Transfer menu)
