Path/File Access Error in Anybus Configuration Manager - RS232/422/485

This Guide explains the steps for troubleshooting the Path/File access error in Anybus Configuration Manager – Serial.

Anybus Configuration Manager – Communicator RS232/422/485

Path/File access error

The Path/File access error can occur in Anybus Configuration Manager when trying to download a configuration to the Communicator. This is usually due to a limitation of permissions of the Windows user.

Possible Workarounds

1. Uninstall Anybus Configuration Manager and Re-install ‘As Administrator’.
2. Run Anybus Configuration Manager ‘As Administrator’.
