Please follow the steps below to configure the X-gateway:
3. Download the Anybus Configuration Manager X-gateway
2. Launch the Anybus Configuration Manager software
3. Select Online>>Connect to connect to the first available X-gateway connected to the PC via USB.
Note: If there are several X-gateways connected to the PC or if a connection to an old X-gateway via a COM port is desired, there is a need to configure the connection. Select Online>>Select Connection, click the "Config" button and then select the X-gateway or COM port to connect to.
4. Now that Anybus Configuration Manager has an active connection to the X-gateway, the interface configurations from the unit can be uploaded, viewed and modified. Choose "Upload configuration" from the Online menu.
5. After the current configuration has loaded, it can then be edited as required. When changing the I/O data size manually, please make sure the sizes match between the interfaces as it specifies the amount of data exchange between the networks.
6. After making changes to the configuration, select Online>>Download Configuration. The new configuration is saved to the X-gateway.
NOTE: Please refer to the "Help" option of the Anybus Configuration manager and the section that is applicable to the specific gateway being used, and its general manual for additional information.
