PROFINET is a standard, unmodified Ethernet protocol designed to support the latest automation strategies. One network for I/O, process instruments, motion controllers, and functional safety. It even preserves your existing investment in legacy fieldbuses by integrating them. This no-cost class prepares the student to apply PROFINET in their own project. Lunch is included. Technical details of the technology are provided along with practical demonstrations.
