New interface available for Fujitsu RAC & VRF integration into RS-485 networks

We have launched a new product to revolutionize the way we integrate Fujitsu RAC and VRF systems. The new Intesis Fujitsu gateway enables fully bi-directional communication between Fujitsu air conditioning systems and RS-485 networks, supporting both BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU protocols. The protocol selection is made through the DIP switches, which simplifies the installation process and saves installation time.

Once installed, the Intesis Fujitsu gateway offers a wide range of control and monitoring functions accessible from Modbus or BACnet. These include EcoMode, Filter Alarm, Running hours, Errors, and RoomFreezeProtection. The ability to control and monitor these functions allows building owners to optimize energy usage and reduce costs related to HVAC systems.

It enables occupancy or window contact functions as well. Allowing for energy savings by automatically turning off AC units when a room is unoccupied, or a window is open. This type of function is especially important given that costs related to HVAC systems in a building are one of the highest, and any reduction in these costs can have a significant impact on overall building efficiency.

The redesign of the Intesis Fujitsu gateway marks a significant milestone in our product offering. With its innovative features and ease of installation, it promises to simplify our distributors’ stock, facilitate the integration of Fujitsu RAC and VRF systems into RS-485 networks, and provide building owners with a powerful tool for optimizing energy usage and costs.
