Multi Conditional Alarming
Conditional alarming allows for the user to set up a smart condition involving multiple variables to trigger an alarm. For example, the engine must be running, and the temperature is over a certain range to trigger an alarm. The key benefit is the reductions of unnecessary notifications and emphasis on critical events.
Conditional Logging
Just like with conditional alarming, logging can be controlled with conditions. For example, if the machine is not running, do not log data. The key benefit is the reduction of unnecessary data transfer costs when using cellular connections.
Alarm Actions
The Netbiter gateway can now be set up to perform actions when an alarm condition is met, such as activate the internal relay or write a preset value to a connected controller.
Edge Computing
In addition to the features above, we have also added in edge computing in the form of LUA scripting on the Netbiter. This allows us to create specialized functionality in the form of scripts that can be configured on Argos and pushed into the device. We have provided a library of scripts already and in the future, we will continue to add to this to give even more power to our already market leading remote management system. Example of scripts that we have added include: Fuel Consumption for non-standard tank shapes, data cleaning, consumption rate monitoring, basic calculations, and many more.
