HMS Networks AB (publ) has signed a development and supply agreement with one of the leading North American manufacturers of industrial automation and power control equipment. The agreement concerns a new product for EtherNet/IP communications, connecting advanced power control components to industrial networks. The agreement is worth 2 MSEK during 2012 and an additional 7 MSEK per annum during the following two years, in total 16 MSEK over the three year period. During recent years EtherNet/IP has established itself as one of the most successful Ethernet technologies for demanding industrial systems. HMS Anybus(® )technology including the new Device Level Ring (DLR) protocol for high speed- and high performance applications is now being adapted to the customer's specific requirements and will be embedded in the customer's communication products in the field of energy distribution.
