Enable communication between industrial devices and PROFINET networks
Item number AB6100-B
The Anybus CompactCom 40 Brick Mini PROFINET is a communication interface that can be embedded into any industrial device or machine to enable communication with PROFINET networks. Soldered directly onto the host’s carrier board and delivered in a tape-and-reel format, it’s ideal for automated manufacturing and high-volume production.
Powered by the award-winning NP40 network processor, the Anybus CompactCom guarantees fast data transfer and low latency, making it ideal for the most demanding industrial applications.
The soldered-on design eliminates the need for additional components like socket headers, reducing both component costs and manual manufacturing steps.
Measuring just 36,4 x 27 x ≤3mm, its compact format is ideal for small industrial devices. The rectangular shape is the preferred choice for device makers.
Delivery on tape and reel facilitates automated assembly, ideal for high-volume device manufacturers.
Pre-certified for PROFINET network compliance, enabling faster network certification.
Fully equipped for Ethernet networks, currently supporting Mb speeds (Gb available upon request), modern IT functions, Transparent Ethernet (RMII), and more. Continuously maintained to align with the latest network protocol specifications.
The black channel interface enables device manufacturers to easily connect a safety module, such as the Ixxat T100, to the CompactCom. This feature provides a straightforward way to integrate safety functionality into your device.
The brick is fully embedded within your product, conserving valuable space, and allows you to use your own network connectors with IP class-certified protection if required.
