ANSWER

If you encounter the error message once, it might simply be a temporary issue when requesting a certificate from the Talk2m cloud and you should not be worried about it.

If you always get this message, even when re-doing the Talk2m configuration wizard, your device might be blacklisted on the Talk2m cloud because it requests too many VPN certificates.
To solve the issue, please do the following:
  • Even when blacklisted, an Ewon is allowed to register once a day. So wait 24 hours from your last registration attempt, make sure that the clock of your device is up-to-date (enable NTP if possible), and finally try to register again.
  • If previous point is not working, please follow this guide to re-install (or update) the firmware of your Cosy+. Then try to register again (still after 24 hours from your last attempt).

If none of the previous instructions solved the issue, then please contact the HMS Support team for the next steps.   This might be caused by firmware issues in the previous versions.  We always recommend to update the latest firmware version.
