I enabled Ultra for my Ewon firewall in Ecatcher and allowed the connection to the FTP Server of the Ewon device :
Then I try to connect to the FTP server of the Ewon through VPN and it does not work.
Two issues might happen in this case :
- In this Ultra mode, the only FTP mode allowed is the Active mode. The Passive mode does not work.
In Filezilla, you can enable it through the menu : Edit > Settings : Transfer mode -> Active
- The second issue could be caused by a known issue in Ecatcher. Indeed if you sync with the configured values of the Ewon :
You'll only get the port 21 that will be whitelisted and your FTP connection to the Ewon won't work.
The work-around is to disable the "FTP Server" in the firewall settings, validate the settings, reopen the Ewon services window and enable the "FTP Server" again. This way, you'll get back the needed ports 21,20, 5120 in the menu.
