This Article describes the relationship, and differences between the various AC interface types. The Article will cover AC, RC, and IR devices; as well as there purpose, and functionality.
Our AC Interface & AC Cloud Control products are generally categorized as AC, RC, IR types. The designation of the products will determine the installation and operation of the Indoor Unit. Each of products has their own considerations when setting up your home automation system.
AC
It is connected through a dedicated connector on the PCB of the Indoor Unit, this is what we call AC connector. The cable type is provided by Intesis.
RC
It is connected through the Remote-control bus for the AC, the same that the wired remote control of the unit itself uses, this is what we call RC connection. The wires are not provides by Intesis.
IR
The IR products do not require any physical connection to the Indoor Unit. The information, and commands are sent from Intesis to the Indoor Unit via Infrared.
When installing and configuring the unit, it is always advised to carefully read through the Installation Manual. It will highlight the necessary settings, and installation of the Intesis products
