ISSUE / QUESTION

Using a USB-to-CAN V2 compact to monitor CAN bus activity with canAnalyser3 mini, I always get the "Controller initialization failed" error.

POSSIBLE CAUSE / ANSWER

It’s possible that you try to initialize a CAN-FD baud rate.

If yes, try it with a standard CAN baud rate. There seems to be a problem when CAN-FD is set before.

Then the selection must be CAN-FD, but a standard baud rate must select.
After that, it can be switched to CAN without FD.
