This three-and-a-half-day, practice-oriented course covers the detailed theory of PROFIBUS DP network operation and the processes in a PROFIBUS network.
You will learn which telegrams are exchanged between PROFIBUS devices, how the network is configured and put into operation, and how the network deals with conflicts and other errors. A high-speed analyzer is used to capture and interpret telegrams, and an oscilloscope is used to quickly diagnose and locate a wide range of faults. You will see practical examples that show the impact of equipment failures, wiring and layout errors, configuration errors, etc.
From the contents of the "Certified PROFIBUS Installer" on day 1, the T&M (Troubleshooting & Maintenance) extension continues to the "Certified PROFIBUS Engineer". By taking part in a theoretical and practical exam on the last day, successful participation is confirmed with an internationally recognized certificate from the PI.
The training lasts 3.5 days, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
